Recently we had the full table read for our exciting new project: Life in Illusia – and we got to hear the musical score, composed by our talented music producer Will. Everyone was really blown away with the results and of course, the chocolate helped make it even more enjoyable. We all applauded at the end. We even had a small audience as someone had come along to see what we were about, and she was very enthusiastic about it afterwards. I joined the IPTC expecting to take part in a few productions in community centres and church halls, having never really acted before (unless you count my job on reception) but this is shaping up to be a professional production. We are even going to be performing in a real theatre – Interplay in Armley, in December. Now the real hard work begins, although we have such fun in rehearsals that it never feels like work.
